Luana, a 12-year- old girl struggling to grasp the world collapsing around her. Her parents have separated. Her grandfather implies he is dying. The family plus Grandma and her dog go to be with him. The journey is psychotic for Luana as she confuses reality with the mysterious events that seem to pursue her.
